Who to Pick and Avoid For NBA DFS Feb 3, 2021

My prediction about who to pick and avoid for the studs went south as Kevin Durant gave way to a vintage Kyrie Irving performance. Steph Curry proved me wrong with 38 markers along with 11 boards and 8 dimes. For the mid-tier salaries, Enes Kanter delivered with another double-double performance while Evan Fournier (my AVOID pick) was pretty decent. On my bargains picks, it was Xavier Tillman and DeAnthony Melton who provided the decent numbers. But then again, RoCo had 19 points and 9 rebounds Read More

DECEMBER 19, 2020 - YEHUDAH LISBON  With the NBA regular season starting in just three days it is best to better prepare yourself for your fantasy basketball draft. Below is a list of my top 5 sleepers (unranked) for the upcoming season. These are players that are being undervalued according to their ADP, and you may get great value and upside out of them. You should definitely look to draft at least a couple of these guys to get the most value out of your picks. Wishing you much luck Read More

Best Value Picks For NBA DFS Feb. 29, 2020

It's a rare occurrence for me to botch a stud suggestion but I did last time with Kawhi Leonard. The reasoning behind the selection is Leonard's previous performances and he may need to exert more against a better opponent. Turns out, the Clippers did not need much from Kawhi on this one by blowing out Denver, 130-103, with Leonard playing only 25 minutes. That said, the Aaron Gordon suggestion was an absolute spot-on. AG had a triple double against the Wolves-- 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists-- Read More

Best Value Picks For NBA Playoffs DFS Wednesday– May 8, 2019

The Studs AP Photo Kevin Durant, SF, Golden State Warriors KD has been really special in this series averaging 36 points, along with 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Game 5 is now at home and with the Rockets really playing well, look for KD to be even better the rest of the way. Draymond Green, PF, Golden State Warriors If you can accommodate Steph Curry, then go for it, but if you want the more consistent performer, Dray is the guy. Game 4 is even an off game for him where he only Read More

Players to Target, NBA DFS – Feb. 9th 2018

Anthony Davis, C, NOP ($11,700)
Davis should be well-rested after the last Pelicans’ game was postponed due to a leak in the roof. He gets the 76ers tonight and as usual, Joel Embiid is a GTD. If Embiid can’t go, it should make it an easy night for Davis who is averaging 51.2 FPPG. He’s clearly benefited from Demarcus Cousins’ absence so far.
Ricky Rubio, PG, UTA ($8,000)
Rubio is quietly having an incredible season. Does anyone realize he’s getting 27.5 FPPG, including 29 points (8-16 Read More

NBA DFS Players to Target – Dec. 18, 2017

Ben Simmons, PF, PHI ($9,900)
Simmons scored 48.2 FP on Friday against OKC. He’s had the whole weekend to rest, and he gets a good matchup with the lowly Bulls tonight. Joel Embiid is sitting out tonight for rest, which means Simmons is in for a huge workload and more rebounds. He’s being priced below Towns, Westbrook, Harden and Durant, but has a legit chance to be a top 3 performer tonight.
Kemba Walker, PG, CHA ($8,000)
Kemba Walker is as stable as they come. He’s averaging a solid 36.7 Read More

Pick’Em DFS NBA Strategy for Nov. 8 – 2017

Tier 1
Steph Curry, PG, GSW

Talk about a tough choice. This tier makes us choose between Kevin Durant, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kyrie Irving and Curry. You really can’t lose here, but I like Steph Curry’s chances of taking advantage of the Wolves’ guards tonight. Minnesota ranks 29th against opposing point guards, and Curry is due for a big game. Steph is averaging just 19.7 PPG in November, but I think Minnesota’s focus will be on stopping Durant and Draymond Green from driving to Read More

Surprises of the NBA Eastern Conference so Far this Season

The Boston Celtics’ Success without Gordon Hayward
After all the hype and anticipation, it was devastating to see Gordon Hayward go down with a season-ending injury just 5 minutes into the season. The Celtics looked devastated and it showed early on, falling to 0-2 on the season. Since then, they’ve won six straight and the young team seems to have developed something special. With Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart, and Jaylen Brown all a year older and more developed, this is one of the deepest teams Read More

NBA DFS “PICK-EM” STRATEGY – OCT. 26, 2017

I’ve been a big fan of the new DFS format called “Pick’Em”. In this style, you select players from different tiers. I like it because it narrows down the decision-making from dozens of players with various dollar values, to groups of similarly-skilled players. It also allows you the freedom to take multiple players from the same position, and removes the headache of trying to get your dollar values to stay within the budget. I’ll go through the first few tiers in detail, and then offer Read More
