Players to Target in DFS Basketball on Nov. 7 – 2017

Giannis Antetokounmpo, SF, MIL ($10,800)

You don’t need me to tell you that Giannis is having a breakout season, and that he’s an incredible pick for DFS. His cost ($10,800) is the highest of the night, but I think he’s worth it and here’s why:

  1. He’s hot right now, coming off 29 points (13-27 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 assists on Friday. He’s had a lot of rest over the long weekend and he’ll be ready to go.
  2. He’s playing the Cavs tonight. As I mentioned last week, the Cavs are struggling, especially on defense (they rank 27th against opposing small forwards)
  3. He’s absorbing all the stats for the Bucks, he played 38 minutes on Friday and he’s being asked to do it all. Grab Giannis now before Eric Bledsoe comes over and dips into his usage a bit.

Kemba Walker, PG, CHA ($7,300)

Kemba Walker is a nice safe pick I like to mix into my lineups. He’s averaging 21.9 PPG for the Hornets, and he’s increased his Fantasy Points Per Game (FPPG) over his last 5 games. He’s increased his assist total this year and I like his matchup against the Knicks tonight in New York.

Allen Crabbe, SF, BKN ($4,300)

Crabbe is playing in a back-to-back, but he got the start last night and took advantage with 15 points, 4 boards, and he made 3-4 from three-point range. If he can post similar numbers tonight, he’ll be a steal at just $4,300. Picks like this should leave you with leftover money to grab Giannis or LeBron James.

Rudy Gobert, C, UTA, ($7,900)

The 76ers will be without Joel Embiid tonight. Gobert should benefit.

Gobert has been averaging 13.4 PPG and 8.4 RPG over his last five. The Jazz are playing the 76ers tonight and Joel Embiid is out. This should allow Gobert to feast on the boards and hopefully surpass 15 points. The 76ers don’t have a ton of depth behind Embiid, especially since they’re shopping Jhalil Okafor. Look for Rudy to have a great game at home tonight.

Note: All salaries are from Draft Kings.
