3 Players to build your DraftKings lineup around. Dec 15th.

Saturday Recap

Bradley Beal 56.50 FPTs 29P/4A/10R/4S

Jaren Jackson Jr. 29 FPTs 16P/1A/4R/2B/1S

PJ Tucker 14 FPTs 3P/3A/4R/1S

Bleacher Report

Beal had a big game against the Grizzlies. He finished with a double double, scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds, he also added 4 steals on the defensive end. Not much to complain about here, 56.50 is a great point total.

Jaren Jackson Jr. had an average game, infact, he finished right at his fantasy average. 16 points and 4 rebounds isn’t a dominate performance but it isn’t nothing, he picked up some blocks and steals to grind out 29 fantasy points.

I’m done with Tucker for a while, like Drummond he saves his dud games for whenever I take him. I had great success with both players earlier in the season, now they can barely dribble a damn ball whenever they are in my lineup.

Sunday Pick

Here are 3 players I am building my lineup around for this horrendous 4 game slate on Sunday.

Newsday

Julius Randle – $7,500

Julius Randle has been playing great for the Knicks lately, so naturally he is due for a 3 point, 6 rebound game if I draft him. Denver is banged up, Paul Millsap is out and Grant is getting his second straight start for the Nuggets. Randle is second on the Knicks in scoring and leads the team with 8.7 rebounds and he’s 1st in assists with a whopping 3.5 a game. I am not surprised that the Knicks leader in assist per game is averaging a little over 3 a night. Picks that I have been very confident in have shit the bed lately, so maybe Randle will have a good night because I have ZERO confidence in this pick. I hate the Knicks and they hate me, any player I draft has the worst game of their career and if I pass up a Knick they will go off. The last terrible game Randle had was against the Nuggets earlier in the month, I am looking for him to bounce back and continue his current streak against a thin Nuggets front court.

Marvin Bagley III – $5,700

Bagley is getting his first start since coming back from injury tonight against the Warriors. His first game back he had 11 points and 6 rebounds in 23 minutes, the next game he had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 21 minutes off the bench. Marvin is getting the start against a Golden State team who will be missing Draymond Green. Bagley is actually undervalued going into tonight. He was priced very high for someone that had been out of the lineup since the first game of the season, he was $6,100 and $6,200 last game. I thought his salary would be the same or a little more expensive, instead, Bagley is getting the start and he is listed at $5,700. Bagley is going to have a big night.

Bright Side of the Sun

Alex Len – $4,700

Alex Len is a good value pick against the Lakers tonight. Len has been the best player off the bench for the Hawks. He has surpassed his fantasy average in the last 6 games and he has done it with 17-22 minutes of game. Len is playing more of a Montrezl Harrell role for the Hawks, he comes off the bench and Damien Jones starts the game. Jones is lucky to see 20 minutes a game and he gets little to no looks on offense. Len has been doing the most with the minutes he has been getting, he is low risk/high reward against the Lakers.

Those are 3 players I am building around, I am struggling to fill out the rest of this lineup. D’Angelo Russell is a good option at $7,800, Russell is the Warriors best offensive weapon. Also, I think Buddy Hield will continue his current hot streak, the only downside is he is quite expensive, he is going for $8,400 tonight.
